I believe in praise.
I also believe in praising. I believe a person will continue to do their best when the right praises are given.
Today, as we went over reading words, I was persistent in praising his efforts by telling him over and over what a good job he was doing. It didn't matter if he got some wrong, if he plugged on, figured them out, then I praised that effort. It makes him feel pretty darn good.
